Children will learn to play Orff instruments and handchimes while having fun learning Christmas carols and a musical dramatization of Noah's ark. The two-hour session will have a break in the middle for a fruit snack and some music movement activities. Parents are invited to drop their children off at the church at 9:00 and return at 11:00 to enjoy a mini-performance by your children.

     Leading the workshop will be Valetta Fellenbaum, music director at Providence Presbyterian Church, and also music teacher at Cape Henry Collegiate where she teaches music to students Prekindergarten through Grade Three. She will be assisted by Robin Birdwell, choir member, soloist and handbell ringer at Providence, who recently retired after teaching many years at Trantwood Elementary.
