ATTENTION: Sunday Worship Reopening Guidelines

In Hebrews 10:24-25, we read: “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Friends, for many of us it’s time to come back to church!

Zoom worship at 11:00 is easy, convenient, and short.  I get that.  And for some with serious health issues, zoom worship is practical and necessary.  But for a great many of us - for those who have begun to resume life in a less restricted way by going to parks, eating out at restaurants, shopping, socializing with friends - attending worship physically is not only possible but practical.

  • It is no longer necessary to sign up in advance to attend worship at our 8:30 or 11:00 am services.
  • We ask that worshippers continue to wear a mask (we have some on hand if you forget) when they arrive for worship.
  • We ask that worshippers self regulate at home - review the Health Assessment Form, take your temperature, and check yourself for symptoms.  If you have a temperature above 100°, or feel ill, or present with symptoms, please stay home.
  • Bring your Health Assessment form when you come to worship.
  • Print the order of worship at home and bring it with you.
  • Enter and Exit through the main sanctuary doors.
  • Families and those living in the same household may sit together.
  • Enrichment will be via zoom.  Children will sit with parents throughout worship as there will not be any childcare or nursery provided.
  • Seating will fill from the front of the sanctuary to the back, every other pew, alternate sides.
  • Offerings may be placed in offerings plates as worshippers enter.
  • There will not be congregational singing, and all printed material have been removed from the sanctuary.
  • The sanctuary will be cleaned after the 8:30 service and pews used by at 9:00 will be roped off for the 11:00 service.
  • Communion is offered in individual servings available in the Narthex as you enter.

Our desire as we worship is to honor God as we strive to rebuild fellowship and community.  Continue to pray for our congregation and those affected by this pandemic as we adjust to a new way of being God’s people, together in spirit and mission while apart from each other physically.
